Siding Color Combinations

The top James Hardie® ColorPlus® color combinations vary depending on the number of siding colors and trim colors you’d like to use. Typically, a home includes no more than two siding colors and two trim colors. However, the combination is completely up to you.

Dryland Canyon

Sandstone BeigeMain Body: Sandstone Beige
Second Body: Khaki Brown
Trim: Arctic White
Accent: Red, Green, Blues and Browns of various shades will all work

Sandstone Beige is a popular neutral because of its chameleon-like characteristics, which allow it to mix-and-match with almost any color. Arctic White trim and Khaki Brown accent body color set the stage to see the richness of this color.

River Rocks

Cobblestone Main Body: Cobblestone
Second Body: Monterey Taupe
Trim: Arctic White
Accent: Red, Green, Blues and Browns of various shades will all work

If you want a rich neutral look for your home, Cobblestone is for you. A taupe-based hue with warm undertones, it pairs well with white and its darker version, Monterey Taupe. This combination is so versatile you could easily interchange the body and trim colors to have three different looks.

Golden Sunset

Navajo BeigeMain Body: Navajo Beige
Second Body: Autumn Tan
Trim: Arctic White
Accent: Red, Green, Blues, Browns and Grays of various shades will all work

Navajo Beige has long been one of America’s favorite neutrals. It blends well with almost any stonework, and when off set with Arctic White trim and Autumn Tan as a body accent color, it creates a classic combination that would fit into any neighborhood, or with any architectural style.

White Mountain

Arctic WhiteMain Body: Arctic White
Second Body: Cobblestone
Trim: Monterey Taupe
Accent: Red, Green, Blues, Browns and Grays of various shades will all work

There will always be a place for using a classic white color for the body of a home. Pair Arctic White with Cobblestone and Monterey Taupe for the ultimate classic neutral palette, with a twist. Looking for something with more punch? The classic blue/white or green/white work well, so consider Boothbay Blue or Heathered Moss instead of Monterey Taupe.

Sandy Beach

Autumn TanMain Body: Autumn Tan
Second Body: Boothbay Blue
Trim: Navajo Beige
Accent: Blues, Browns and Grays of various shades will all work

Boothbay Blue offsets Autumn Tan in this combination to create a visually appealing look for those of us who love blue. The key to this combination is to use a softer trim color. Navajo Beige provides the right balance for this palette.

Back Woods

Heathered MossMain Body: Heathered Moss
Second Body: Khaki Brown
Trim: Navajo Beige
Accent: Green and Browns of various shades will all work

Looking for a combination that blends well with a woodland environment, look no further. The subtle hue shifts between Heathered Moss and Khaki Brown provide the ultimate classic back-country look and feel, especially when combined with Navajo Beige on the trim.

Mineral Quarry

Monterey TaupeMain Body: Monterey Taupe
Second Body: Timber Bark
Trim: Cobblestone
Accent: Red, Green, Blues, and Browns of various shades will all work

When in doubt, this combination is foolproof. It offers a stronger contrast between its neutral body colors, Monterey Taupe and Timber Bark, but not too much because of the softer shade, Cobblestone, for the trim. This combination is great with any landscaping color palette, from strong reds, soft pinks and vibrant rusts.

Autumn Oak

Khaki BrownMain Body: Khaki Brown
Second Body: Countrylane Red
Trim: Navajo Beige
Accent: Blues and Browns of various shades will all work

The elegance of a traditional country red with the sophistication of a warm mid-tone brown are the focus of this combination. Looking to use red, but afraid of overpowering your neighborhood? These two colors, combined with Navajo Beige trim, will make everyone happy and still have a very unique, individualized look.

Tallgrass Prairie

Boothbay BlueMain Body: Boothbay Blue
Second Body: Autumn Tan
Trim: Navajo Beige
Accent: Blues, Browns and Grays of various shades will all work

There is nothing like a classic blue home, whether nestled in the country or city. While you can always pair it with Arctic White trim, using Autumn Tan as an additional body color, and Navajo Beige trim will put a new spin on this classic look. However, it you are using this combination close to water, change the trim to Arctic White for a crisper look.

Blooming Rosebush

Countrylane RedMain Body: Countrylane Red
Second Body: Monterey Taupe
Trim: Cobblestone
Accent: Green, Blues, Browns and Grays of various shades will all work

If an old New England Salt Box house or a Country Farm House is something you have always admired, this is a great combination for you. The addition of the Monterey Taupe and Cobblestone trim make this combination feel and look like it would fit any architectural style.
